It's shocking how much the Wii is on top in Japan. Japan was expected to grab up the PS3 with at least 80% of the market, like before. This time it's very different.

well yah I know what you mean. I agree it's a great game and we'll have to wait for some definate footage. I never give any trailer good props, it's the gameplay that I'm interested in. Like GOW or Mass Effect.

it doesn't have trouble you just have to download a patch on the hard drive, but I can tell that xbox 1 games do run hotter because it's different code. It's like having to run up a hill and run back down for groups of code. Instead of 360 games which would take one trip up the hill cause the code is for the console. Which is why PC ports have a problem doing anymore than matching very expensive PC's. Cause you have to adapt it, which slightly hinders graphical abilities. Ergo -- Oblivio...
come on, you think MGS4 can be on a 360 just with less graphics. That defeats kojima's whole statement, the exact same game can be produced on a 360. 2007 will be the first year for ps3 games, come on now. The MGS4 trailers are a cutscene, it's not exactly what you'll see in gameplay. And those cutscenes can be played off of anything really, even a average computer. I honestly didn't think this is how Sony made most of their games backward compatible for the ps1 and ps2. It's strange cause only the early PS3 adopters will have backward compatibility than? I guess so. It makes sense for the xbox 360 to stop making new games backward comp., but this move is quite strange if only a group of people will be able to use backward compatibility. I bet only the 600 dollar pack will have this, makes sense. Also because of the blu-ray in the 500 dollar one not...
this game is making me so excited. Imagine being able to use the "chase" camera, that's incredible innovation. Getting stress and pulses high, GOW will dominate. So many of the graphics and effects are so fine tuned. Like the bullet impact with brick, blood, and of course the characters. It's like what games should of been years ago.
